Homeowner Services & Construction
Do you offer free estimates for construction and remodeling?
We do not offer free estimates. To provide the highest level of precision and dedicated attention, we require a $50 upfront consultation fee to evaluate a project. This fee acts as a credit and is applied to your final invoice if Carolina BuildingWorks is hired for the job.
How does pricing work for small repairs and punch-lists?
For smaller maintenance and repair tasks, we utilize a highly transparent model: a $150 minimum dispatch fee, plus an hourly rate of $125 per hour, plus the exact cost of materials.
What is the maximum project size you accept?
At this time, our construction and remodeling division accepts projects with a maximum total value not to exceed $40,000 per project. This ensures we maintain strict quality control and high-quality execution on every job we undertake.
Do I need to purchase my own materials for a remodeling project?
You do not need to worry about logistics. Carolina BuildingWorks handles all material sourcing, purchasing, and delivery to guarantee quality and keep your project on schedule. We collaborate closely with you during the initial consultation to select the exact fixtures and finishes that meet your vision.
Do you handle the necessary building permits for my project?
Absolutely. For any deck builds, major structural changes, or extensive remodels that require local municipal oversight, our team manages the entire permitting process. We ensure every phase of your project is built with professional craftsmanship and strictly complies with North Carolina building codes.
Real Estate & B2B Partnerships
Can you handle rapid post-inspection punch-list repairs before closing?
Yes. Our construction division frequently partners with real estate agents to execute fast-turnaround repairs. We understand that time is of the essence during a transaction, and we work diligently to execute repair addendums with uncompromised attention to detail so you can keep the closing on schedule. **Only on properties we did not inspect**
How quickly can you deploy for an estate cleanout or tenant move-out?
Our preservation team prioritizes rapid turnarounds for real estate professionals. Cleanouts and junk hauling are priced transparently by volume, starting at a $99 minimum dispatch up to $325 for a full trailer load. Whole-home clearings are custom quoted based on scope, and we can typically mobilize quickly to meet tight listing deadlines.
Can your inspectors also fix the issues they find on a home inspection?
Absolutely not. To maintain strict legal and ethical compliance, our inspections division operates completely independent of our construction division. We provide 100% objective, unbiased property evaluations and will never solicit or perform repairs on any property we inspect.
How do you coordinate property access for vacant or occupied listings?
We make the process entirely seamless for agents. Our teams are fully equipped to coordinate access via standard agent lockboxes or contractor codes. For occupied listings, our uniformed professionals prioritize discretion and strict adherence to scheduled appointment windows to minimize disruption to your sellers.
Do you handle comprehensive pre-listing preparations?
Yes. Beyond simple punch-lists, our construction and preservation divisions can work together to completely turn a property before it hits the market. From hauling away accumulated clutter to installing fresh flooring and updating fixtures, we provide the precision execution needed to ensure your listing commands top dollar.
